🆕📺 Classic chic silk tunic/midi dress golden w/olive tone & embroidered collar

📺TV icon in front of title is 4 “Trendy & Vintage”. Trendy for the upcoming warm seasons w/its metallic-like shine in the silk. Timeless traditional India-inspired cut. Purchased in the 1990’s. Natural fibres (outer silk and lining in cotton) so friendly to the environment. Not tailored, relaxed style. Buttons all the way down. End of sleeves wider. Dry cleaning. Hue vary significantly with light because the natural shine of the silk reflects the light. There is definitively an olive undertone: the closest to the real thing are the pictures on the styrofoam mannequin. Flower embroidery around the collar front and back w/pinkish brown, burgundy, rust, olive and gold threads. The back hem is rounded and longer than the front (inspired by the traditional style of some regions of India). See picture on the floor. Measurements in inches when flat and approximate; Length at front: 39 Length at back: 45.5 Shoulders: 15.5 Pit to pit: 20 Labeled medium but made big. The “Girl with a pearl earring” on the painting wears a similar shiny tunique: the artist, Vermeer, is famous for catching light. So thanks to him you can have a better idea of the beauty of the silk and how you can pair it with pastels to be a trendy 17th century girl!🙃 Condition: never used it so excellent vintage condition. One of the yarns straps to secure a hook has been mended. Knackmixing ideas: use it as an overcoat to add sophistication. Wear it over a shorter tunic for a modern look.
