Classic wi/a twist black & white tweed blazer embellished with beads & ribbons.

Feminine and elegant lines: they make you look thinner and taller. A 1980’s feel but purchased in the 1990’.s. Semi-formal or formal, depending on how you accessorize it. Would be nice for a wedding, a gala or a special outing (day or night) Nice contemporary design using a contrast between the black and white tweed & the solid black. Pictures best describe the patterns. Solid black fabric that looks like natural silk (but is not-see picture of label) on the sides of the body, under the sleeves & part of collar. Also solid black ribbons (of 2 different widths) towards end of sleeves, as a trim to the collar, close to the sides of the body ( front & back). Also ribbon patches on the upper back & on various locations on the front of the body (see pictures). Buttons are large & textured black with some small patches & lines of silver. Some patches are embellished with various shapes of black beads. Additional beads directly on tweed. . Dry cleaning. Condition: excellent vintage (minimal pilling). The beads that were loose were mended. Note that live model & mannequin are size small so blazer is too big and therefore not presented at its best. Knackmixing ideas: if you wear earrings, some with black beads would complement nicely the style of the jacket. Note: skirt on some pictures is not included.
