I’m not sure the exact age of this set: I have owned it as secondhand 8+ years. Great vibrant colours! Costume metal fittings. Necklace: about 26” long Earrings: about 1 &3/4” long All beads are 12mm in diameter. In excellent preowned condition

charliky Hi, is this cloissone ? or porcelain ? I'm fine with it both ways, but just want to clarify.

kamloopsgem @charliky Hi! I just added triple magnification to view them before answering….(magnifying visor, glasses, plus my jeweler loupe!) My opinion: a porcelain base, with enamel finishing details overtop to mimic the Cloisonne effect. I stand corrected! I saw the enamel details in the porous, slightly raised details of the red, blue and green parts which are all outlined in gold. So seemingly….it is a bit of both, but not traditional in the truest sense of the technique.
