pursegal3 @shelley_rollins I agree, the strap is short. All of the bags in this style have the same 12" strap. BaddieBoutique has what looks to be a smaller version of this bag for sale in their closet. It comes with a long crossbody strap. You could also use a crossbody strap off of another bag.
