Coach Vintage 2001 Bonnie’s Legacy Small Zip Satchel Bag Red/Burgundy #9421

This is an authentic burgundy Coach Bonnie’s Legacy Small Zip Satchel with nickel hardware, made in Costa Rica in 2001. The Bonnie's Legacy line was Coach's tribute to Bonnie Cashin, Coach's first lead designer from 1961 to 1974 who launched their women's bags/accessories line - and an absolute fashion legend who had massive influence on women's style far beyond just bags! After Bonnie's death in 2000, Coach released this small, limited-time collection of bags showcasing design elements of some of her classic original styles. Overall in very good vintage condition with some minor wear and tear from normal use - some areas where the patina on the leather is a bit darker, some light scratches on the leather, some scratches on the hardware esp. the feet - but no notable major damage or issues and it's a really beautiful bag. You can see some light striations on the bottom of the bag, which are part of the leather texture (as per the older version of the Coach creed, "The scars, scratches, veins and wrinkles are natural characteristics of full grain leathers") and not scratches. Ready to wear immediately as I've just given it a nice cleanup and leather conditioning! As per the original Coach description of this purse: "Just the thing for spring. Inside zip pocket.
