hello, thank you for your interest, the zipper isn't broken it just doesn't reach to either ends. I just zipped it up now and all is perfect. The measurements are approximately 12" W x 101/4" L x 3" D. I will post a pic with the zipper closed to show its not the full length of the purse. For some reason Coach designed some of their bags this way. Thanks again!
