Colclough Tea Cup and Saucer -6595 Shape

A tea cup and saucer set made by Colclough in Staffordshire, England in the 1940s. The pair are circled by pink & yellow flowers with grey leaves in the background. There are no chips or cracks and the only crazing is in the center of the saucer and on the underside around the back stamp. The number 6595 is on the underside. Once England's largest porcelain manufacturer, Colclough was bought out in 1948. The tea cup stands 2 1/2" tall and is 3 3/8" wide at the mouth. The saucer is 5 1/2" across.
