Does this taper a little towards the bottom hem or are the chest width and bottom width the same?

Are there any signs of wear: fading, stains, or pilling? Also could you tell me the chest width pit to pit and the width across at the bottom hem?

@vipercy there are no stains or pilling or signs of wear, it was only ever worn once and washed once in cold water, hang to dry. The hoodie is garment dyed and pre-washed cotton which means it has a slight washed look over all, which is intentional to the style.
Pit to pit is 22 inches
Bottom hem across is 21 inches
