@janeleclajoie I would say more of a ski jacket. I personally used it for snowy winter activities like tobogganing and shovelling. There is a snow skirt yes (didnโt know this term so had to Google to check) but that is the bottom closure I refer to in the description. You can also see a photo of it in the listed images.
