Introduced in 1970, the Corelle Butterfly Gold pattern has been retired. Set of one mug and two stackable cups. Mug has D-shaped handle, cups have arched open hook handles. Cups measure 4" diameter x 2.25" high. Holds 8 ounces. Mug measures 3 5/8” diameter x 3.5” high. Hold 8 ounces. Vintage Corelle is made of a 3-layer tempered glass called Vitrelle that was introduced by Corning in 1970 to be a beautiful, yet functional, alternative to traditional china. The thin and lightweight design is made to be stored and carried easily along with more durability compared to ceramic, stoneware or porcelain. Good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or scratches.
