Custom Midi Weddingdress 

As I am sure you are all certain by now, avid thrift person here. I have been since the age of 21, I raised both my girls on VV Boutique. I had expensive taste, but not the budget to afford it. This dress is made from a vintage silk saree that I had picked up some 5 years prior to my eldest daughter's engagement. It was middle covid & she was game to go for it. Designing & constructing with a preset of textile is a completely different animal than gathering the necessary parts to make. You are forced to spend hours conceptualizing the design, decide what should go where & how to use the parts before you, to create the best possible outcome. One chance, with no redo's. 5 yds @ 36" width created this beauty. Disassembled & then reassembled.
