DC Comics Purse

Noelle Hamlyn is a textile artist from Ontario, Canada. Her unique Pocket Book collection was inspired by the 1930’s term "pocketbook" for a women’s handbag - a pocket made out of books. This Pocket Book purse started as a vintage book then laminated to make it water resistant. The lining was specially created from repurposed fabrics. The handles are reclaimed belts and fitted with snaps so it can covert from a double strap to a longer single shoulder strap or to no strap at all. The Pocket Book purse has a custom zipper, and all pieces are assembled by hand. The purse measures: 9.5" long x 6.75" wide and 2.5" deep (at the spine of the book). The purse is in excellent condition with no rips or tears but does have some wear that is consistent with age and gentle usage. Comes from a pet-free and smoke-free home
