Author E. M Richardson - winner of the ALL-CANADA FICTION AWARD and the Governor-General's Award. EVELYN RICHARDSON was born on a small island off the tip of Nova Scotia and studied at Dalhousie University. In 1930 she joined her husband in caring for the Bon Portage Island light.
