DIY Ecotrippy Battlevest W/ Cones, Studs And Vintage Textiles

in highschool my bestie left a party with what she thought was her unaltered darkwash denim (which was a big look for local-band-appreciator type hipsters circa Y2K)....but it was some dudes, and it didn't fit her right so she gave it to me because I would both wear and fit a men's XS. I bleached it and transferred over the back panels from a vintage ski jacket I thrifted in the late 90s somewhere near Nanaimo (the ski jacket was kid size, it never fit me). the studs and cones are all hand done around the time I was moving to Toronto in 2010. I've worn it and modified it off and on since then but it's always had the vintage greenpeace patch. A very unique and irreplaceable piece 🪻 (2pac mask included in pocket)
