D'Orlan is a Canadian jewelry company founded in Toronto in 1957 by Maurice Bradden. Bradden trained under Marcel Boucher, a well-known jewelry designer, and initially produced jewelry exclusively for the Boucher Company. The company is known for using high-quality materials, including hand-set Austrian crystals, rhinestones, and Japanese glass pearls, often embedded in 22-karat triple gold plating over a pewter base. In 1984, D'Orlan partnered with Nina Ricci, developing a specialized plating process that is highly regarded for its consistency and durability, also used in Nina Ricci jewelry.
