La Scala Black Jenna wrap dress: collared with 3/4-length sleeves, straight skirt; Material: silk jersey A few years back, DvF realized the great demand for her classic prints, and started offering the Vintage Reissue Collections. Classic prints used by Diane in the past have been re-released, done in silk jersey fabric this time, and prints are either the same colors or modified/updated in new color schemes. These are called the "Vintage" collections. Like the timeless wrap dress, these prints have stood the test of time, staying popular through the 70s, 80s, 90s and are now reappearing in the new millenium in the fabulous silk jersey material. They are more popular than ever, and deservedly so! These prints are hard to find discounted because some shops decide to never reduce the price of these (Neiman Marcus, specifically, will save the wrap and sell it the following year - I found several 2005 Vintage Collection wraps this summer at their stores). I guess they know how popular these dresses are and count on them to sell no matter when the print was introduced! However, the DvF shop does not save these prints, so I would recommend that if you see something you love, buy it immediately or it may be gone.
