coledavidson2 are these composite toe ? or real steel toes ?

cujo27 Hey there @coledavidson2 ! Thank you for looking into our closet, as well as for the question(s), on these steel toed boots, as well as the Black Dickies. I'm selling them for a friend here and I wish I new the difference. I feel ridiculous because I was with the Labourers Union for 4 years and should know the difference but I actually dont. I looked up on Google how to tell the difference. If I'm not mistaken the Dickies are composite, and the Dakota are real steel.

coledavidson2 @cujo27 oh ok lol no worries at all thanks for the reply! and another way to tell is if one is lighter than the other the real steel is heavy and the composite one is lighter I should be able to just Google and find the exact boot! thanks again! just looking for a composite toe because real steel ones hurt my ankles lol I will get back to you though as I really need new work boots!

cujo27 @coledavidson2 Ok thanks for reply, and for the information. And ya, on the Dickies boots tag, it reads "and other composite materials" or something close to it. I did also check a few of the different things written on the tags but couldn't narrow it down enough to be sure, so if u could try Google it like u said n get back to me like said, that would be probably be easiest and much appreciated. Again, we hope to hear back from ya!🙂
