Vintage Dansk chocolate brown Købenstyle 2 Quart casserole pot with lid. This oven/stove to table pot has a unique style lid that also serves as a trivet. Designed by Danish sculptor and designer Jens Quistgaard in 1956, who was also Dansks chief designer. Oven safe up to 550 degrees, not for use in microwave. Hand wash only. Good vintage condition.This does have chips in the enamel around the rim, on the handles and lid and some obvious signs of use on the inside and some scratches on the bottom of the pot, these do not affect the use of the pot. All wear indicative of age and use. Made in France. Measures approximately 8.5” wide w/o handles, 4” high and holds 6 quarts.
