In 1756, a ballad was written about the couple. They are also mentioned in plays, writings and a ballet during the early 1800s. Tony Wood operated a pottery factory from 1980 to mid 1990 and these teapots and other ceramic wares. Vintage Condition: NO chips. NO cracks. NO crazing. The glaze pooled in areas, such as the tea pot rim, giving a beige color, this is not tea stains :)
