Dark Red Samsonite SATURN III train case + keys + tag + tray make-up storage box

A 1970s Dark red vintage train case, or makeup storage case by Samsonite, marked on the inside tag "Saturn III Canadian Red´d Trademark of Samsonite Corporation Made in Canada by Samsonite, Stratford Ont. A reg´d User". Perfect to use for make-up storage, ladies vanity or travel case, overnight bag or home storage box. Condition: The outside with a a few marks of age and use including some stains and scuffs, mostly to the corners. The silver toned clasps to the front with minimal wear, a touch stiff from disuse but work well and with the original "Made in Canada" sticker. The locks work well and the case comes with 2 original keys. The carry handle in a plastic with a slight rubber feel to it is in great shape. The inside is coloured in a matching burgundy red hard plastic, unlined and quite clean with only small signs of use. The lid holds a simple makeup mirror that can be adjusted a slight by pulling the bottom but it does not feel like it can be actually repositioned. With an inset off-white plastic tray, slightly higher at the back and with 5 sections. Also with a zippered pocket, the zipper slightly stiff but working, the inside of the pocket lined in a thicker plastic. The luggage tag in a matching faux burgundy leather with silver toned Samsonite branding is in good shape and has the original (yellowed) plastic loop to hang it from.
