David Dixon Barbie 50th anniversary gown from The 2009 collection

David Dixon a Canadian designer and alumni of Ryerson and apprentices under Alfred Sung. He created a line at the request of Mattel to celebrate Barbie’s 50th anniversary. This dress was from that 2009 collection and was worn once and has remained in my closet. I’m no longer a size 4 and my daughter is graduated university and doesn’t wear dresses/gowns. I attached a picture of the same dress in pink from the runway Prom season is approaching! This is a lovely dress and doesn’t photograph well. Made in Canada! Designed by a Canadian designer and was sold at the Bay ❤️
