Beautiful oval ceramic dish finished with a deep red colour and a glossy glaze with a meal prayer engraved on a cream coloured background that reads “Bless us, Oh Lord, and these thy Gifts which we are about to receive from thy Bounty.” Handles at each end and fruit, flowers and vines in raised relief decorate the border around the plate’s scalloped edge.
