Delphine Tea Cup and Saucer Fine Bone China Blue Yellow Flowers

This set was made by Delphine England. The set consists of a pedestal tea cup and a matching saucer. The set was made of English bone china. The pieces were made with a slight ruffle to the rims and smooth sides. The tea cup stands on a pedestal base. The pieces were coated in white glaze. A pattern of yellow and blue flowers with dark yellow and green leaves on brown stems was applied to the pieces. The cup and saucer have matching patterns with a larger bouquet on one side and a single yellow flower on the other. Gold lines were hand painted on the rim and base of the teacup as well as along the sides of the handle. A gold line was hand painted on the rim of the saucer. On the underside of both pieces is the Delphine stamp. The teacup measures 3 1/4" across, 4 1/4" from the handle to the rim and stands 3" tall. The saucer measures 5 1/2" across and stands 3/4" tall. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is no loss to the glazes, colors, patterns, or gold trims.
