Depose France Oval Celluloid Carriage with Horse and Man Brooch/Pin

This antique Depose brooch is a rare find for any jewelry collector. The oval shape and yellow gold plating make it a stunning piece that is sure to catch the eye. The brooch is signed and made in France during the Art Deco era (1915-1935). It is made of celluloid material with a cream-colored main stone. The prong setting style and unique pin clasp adds to the brooch's sophistication. The material was widely popular as a substitute for ivory. The yellow Celluloid accessories with graining often looks like ivory. In the past Celluloid was known as French Ivory.
