This dress has a Japanese motif with water lilies, plum blossoms, lotus flowers and geishas. Soft like a favourite t-shirt. Appliqué flowers in a satiny fabric trimmed in gold-coloured thread are a thoughtful design feature. Short sleeves with elastic. Measures 36 inches down the back from top of neck to hem.

@heather2002_2 Hello! Thanks for your interest and great question. Yes, I think it probably runs small for a large. I took photos with a measuring tape in place, so I will add those to the listing. What I can tell you is it measures 17.25 inches across the front and across the back from seam to seam under the arms, totalling 34.5 inches. The V neck is 10 inches deep, and from the middle of the shoulder to the waist is 14 inches.
