Are the black scuff marks near the toe part of the design or from use? because the soles look pristine.

Actually I just took a second look and the scuffs are actually some of the white crackle finish coming off. It doesn’t look bad when they’re on because the finish looks distressed. I can send more pictures if you’d like?
