Dixiefried by Pinup Couture, Reproduction Marilyn Monroe Niagara Dress-- NWT!

This listing is for a reproduction of the iconic hot pink cut-out dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 Hollywood film Niagara, but this one is made in light purple rather than hot pink. The design elements of this dress include cap sleeves that sit almost off-the-shoulder, a (decorative, not functional) tie front bodice with cut-out just below the bust, and a figure-hugging silhouette. One slight difference in the two dresses is that the repro zips up the back (with a hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper) rather than at the front like the original. Ruching is used below the cut-out to achieve the visual effect. The repro also has a slit at the front, whereas the original is just seamed all the way down to the hemline. Size M. The fabric is 4% spandex so there is some stretch to it. There is a slight flaw in this dress which I didn't see until it was stretched over the mannequin; it's a small break/gap in the stitching of a seam on the back. It's visible between the waist & hip on the left side of the photos. It looks like it would be a very simple fix even with basic sewing skills, I just don't want to do anything to it since it's a NWT item.
