@mandy496 photos have been added! Grass is one piece. 2 separate plastic green layers sit in 2 separate grey bottom tray pieces. The bottom grey pieces snap together with a plastic middle strip that holds them in place. All plastic pieces are easily washable- bottom grey trays ensure no leaks.
