Dominion #5 Meat Grinder by Maxwells

A vintage #5 meat grinder marked Dominion. It looks to be in excellent condition; the grinder itself turns freely as does the screw on the vise section of the grinder. It is meant to be secured to a table or counter top. It was made by Maxwell's Ltd in Saint Mary's, Ontario, a company that opened in 1859 and closed in 1964. Dominion was a Canadian steel company that was bought out in 1957, so the grinder is from before 1957. The grinder is 6 5/8" wide by 9 1/2" tall and weighs 4 pounds 12.8 ounces.
