...century Modern A luxurious and elegant set of 6 wine glasses by Dorothy Thorpe in her DTC30 pattern which has a 22K gold 1/2" hand applied banding to the body and foot (painted, not solid metal). Dorothy Thorpe was a notable mid-century American glassware designer known for her elegant and often minimalist designs. The glasses look handmade and very VERY similar but not *quite* identical, and there is a touch of difference in glass thickness, weight, thickness of the gold banding, exact shape of the glass bowl, shape of the inside of the bowl etc. A gorgeous and timeless set that would make an excellent gift, or why not keep it all to yourself? It would certainly liven up the holiday dinner table with a beautiful glass of wine, or provide a touch of elegance to a New Years´ gathering. Condition: With minimal wear to the gold banding, these glasses look practically unused. NOT dishwasher safe / NOT microwave safe Sizes between 6 3/4 and 6 7/8" tall
