VTG o. Porcelaine Desert Bowls Set of 6 Bavaria Germany Vintage Fruit/Berry or Desert BowlsOscar Schaller & C Set of 6 Made by Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger, (Gebrüder Winterling O.H.G.) Manufactured between 1946 and 1949 ( US - Zone, Allied-occupied Germany ) 5 1/8" top diameter 2 7/8" base diameter 1 1/8" tall (to the edge of the rim) Decorated with beautiful bouquet of flowers in Dresden style with elegant gold gilding. Excellent condition, It appears that these bowls were stored away for over 80 years and never used. Please review pictures. The company was founded in the year 1882 by the businessman Oscar Schaller and by 1917 the company was taken over by Gebrüder Winterling O.H.G. in Röslau (Bavaria) and renamed Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger. In 1950 the company was changed to corporation status re-named to Gebrüder Winterling A.G.
