Drumheller Alberta Souvenir Spoon - Vintage Repousse Silver Plate Shovel Bowl - Made in Holland - Pre Owned Excellent Condition
This vintage souvenir spoon of Drumheller, Alberta, Canada, is an example of Repousse Silver Plate in the shovel bowl. It is embossed with a tavern scene of two men at a table with a background of buildings. The finial is an embossed image of a church with the words "Drumheller Alta" just below it. It was made in Holland and measures 5 inches long and is excellent pre-owned condition. It is most likely from the 1950s or 60s.
Repousse silver is sterling silver or other metal that has a raised or relief design hammered in from the backside of the piece. Sometimes the back displays the hammered design, other times the hammered design has been filled in and is solid.
NOTE: Vintage items may show signs of wear. I have made every effort to accurately describe the item. Please check all images as they are part of the description.
