EUC 1950s Vintage Fassbender for Eaton's Gladstone Handbag with Metal Hardware

This vintage 50s purse, made in England by Fassbender for Eaton's Canada, is such a unique historical piece. It features: - black leather outer - hand straps - heavy almost industrial looking metal hardware - flip up decorative hinges at clasp corners - clip closure with buttons that push inwards to open - gladstone style: interior metal bars allow bag to stand upright fully open - actually fits a modern cell phone - small unattached interior mirror included In stunning condition for its age. There is some wear to the leather on the corners and some green patina on the interior zipper. See photos. Bag is 11.5" long (at bottom), 6.5" tall, and 2" wide when fully closed. 6.5" wide at top when fully opened with hinges. Each strap is 17" long including metal hardware.
