rtgirard @jhessels6209 Hi...it is beautiful bag. I love it but I need to reduce my closet...lol I don't use bags on my shoulder so it's difficult for me to say whether it's a shoulder bag. I am 5'2"...and I love the size. I notice Kate Spade bags tend to be called medium or large when I would call them small and medium, so by those terms I would call it on the larger size. Sorry I can't help more.
