Hi, I’m wondering if you can clarify the pit to pit measurement of 17”. Is this measurement from the side seam under the armpit? All the size S coats and jackets that I own are 19” from ones side seam to the other, measured at armpit level. I’m wondering if this is maybe a “fits like an XS”! Thank you!

@juliagilb hi! It was taken from the side seams where they meet the arm seams. I took that measurement on the hanger. Upon further inspection, lying flat it measures about 17.5" so perhaps it does fit more like XS. I haven't worn it in several years so I can't recall
