EUC Vintage Art Studio Pottery Hummingbird Plaque & Stand made of Volcanic Ash

Add some creativity to your spring/summer decor with this artistic handmade studio art pottery hummingbird plaque with stand by artist Stan Langtwait. The plaque, featuring a lovely colourful hummingbird & flowers, can be easily propped up in the accompanying stand. Both are made from volcanic ash from Mt. St. Helen’s & mixed with natural unrefined clays “to form the craggy look of volcanic lava & capture the timeless mystique of the Northwest mountains.” Pottery company Shapes of Clay created in the 1950s “until Stan Langtwait’s death in the 1980s”. Pottery & stand are both in excellent, gently used condition. (No damage). They were displayed on a mantle to mark the start of Spring! Can be displayed on a table etc. using the stand or add an attachment to hang on a wall (plaque has an indentation for hanging at the back). Approx.
