EUC Vintage dragon music jewellery box Double dragon carved lid with unusual staining adding red and black to the beautiful warm Hardwood. (I don’t know what the red character is) Really interesting Minimalist, Two dimensional design and carving style. If anything, it looks more beautiful and impressive when you realize how simple their overall approach and execution are! Motifs: - Simplified Chinese - Greek key (could be I-Ching related) - intriguing repeating design on the bottom half of a Latin Cross inside a house in the hills (Its so incongruous to most designs that I think I’m wrong. It might be I-Ching related again.) Interior: red velvet, divided, mirrored. 2 small trays that are hinged and lift as you open the box. 2 larger areas inside bottom. 2 ring rolls and music box casing in center. Music: “Somewhere My Love” Very LOUD and Clear! EUC vintage c. 1970s-1980s. Some small nicks and scratches, mostly from the move. Inside and most of the outside is near pristine.
