Ear hangers. How does one hang ears??!

I have worked my way up to 14mm so I really can't use them anymore but they are so pretty. the wings are stainless steel and look like they could be 6mm I'm afraid I can't remember the sides and I don't have a caliper to measure correctly. the ivory looking ones are acrylic and I think the wood ones are naga ( does that sound right) I don't think any are larger than 8mm
