🇨🇦 Early 50s, "Sterling By Jewelart" Owl Brooch

A true vintage item. Hallmarked "Sterling By Jewelart." For sure this modernist designed owl brooch was made sometime between 1946 and the mid 50s. Being a modernist design though, I suspect that it was made early 1950s. Jewelart Co. (not to be confused with Jewelart Inc.) existed between 1946 and the business was dissolved in the mid 50s. You may find this brooch on other online sites incorrectly dated to the 1960s or 1970s and with a price reflective of those periods.
