This is one of the early Roots bags in bison leather. It needs a bit of reshaping as it got squished but the leather is in great condition and no marks. Lovely patina and a real collector item. Roots logo on the inside and bottom and it still has its beaver hangtag. Original price tag not attached but still inside. Interior has a sturdy fabric with one zippered pocket and 2 open pockets. One zippered pocket on the outside. Shoulder strap is adjustable on the buckles and has interesting brass details.

Good morning Cayt, could you measure the bag please? I would like to know if it is around the same size as the small freedom cross body roots has. What is the longest the strap will go? I’m assuming it is not a cross body ? Thank you Lauren

@laurenivyfern It is an interesting measure as the base is smaller than the extension of the purse to the sides. Base is 7 3/4" X 4". Seem to seem across the front at wide point near base is 11 1/8". Bottom seem to top seem is 8 1/4". Width across top seem to seem is 2 1/8". Strap as configured in picture is 11 1/2" hang. Holes on each side are maximum of 1 1/2" apart first to last hole. I found the hang with last holes about 14". Not a great fit cross body.
