Ecologyst 100% cotton heather grey hoodie sweatshirt

A high quality hoodie sweatshirt made of thick, plush 100% cotton with leather zipper pull. Raglan sleeves with a straight, gender neutral cut. Ethically made in Canada by Sitka (currently known as Ecologyst). Ecologyst still makes this sweatshirt today retailing at $195. From the Sitka newsletter: We created the original Peak Hoody because we couldn’t find another sweatshirt at the time that was warm and durable enough to stand up to the cold water surfer lifestyle. Turns out all those fluffy hoodies tend to be made from synthetic fibres and blends, which shed microplastics into our waterways when washed (and that’s a big ol’ problem). The answer was to develop a 100% cotton fabric that wouldn’t pill or shed its warmth over time. This sweatshirt lives up to the description. I would definitely keep this piece if I could, but it doesn’t fit anymore. It’s in excellent preloved condition with no flaws to note. Freshly laundered and ready to wear.
