This poncho is made of 100% acrylic and was made in Ecuador. I've seen pieces identical to this one listed as being made of alpaca wool (or 50% alpaca wool and 50% acrylic), but none of them show the tag (so I have my doubts). The poncho is knit and has beautiful patterns with bold colours. At the bottom there is a vivid purple fringe all the way around, and the top has a hood and a button/loop closure (see pic 4). There is normal wear, including some fuzziness in the exterior, but the piece is very wearable. The fringe might benefit from a comb, but is also fine as-is. Please note, the colours in the picture are slightly darkened and appear a little more vivid to the eye.
This piece is marked as One Size (talla unica) and should fit most people, but here are a few flat lay measurements to help you out. Picture the piece flat like a diamond shape for these:
Length across at button level ("shoulders"): 16.5"
Length across entire piece (point to point): 38"
Length from bottom of neck to bottom of poncho (no fringe): 32.25"
Fringe length: 3-4"

I was about to buy one of these off of Etsy by “Indian creations”, I thought they were 100% alpaca wool… either this one is a knock off version of theirs, or they’re running a huge scam opperation 😭

@marvellousmama the similarities are striking, right?? I would be very interested to see a pic of one of their tags, they don't show them at all 🤷
