'Shadows' conveys our struggle with our beliefs/feelings/imagined world that we live in. It is a struggle with the Dark vs Light. The Dark is as real as the Light, and the only boundary between us our willingness to hold the Light; further depicted by the partial halo and open crown chakra. The image may look dark at first glance but with study we see choice. Hiding edges of the image and the Watermark (H) are to protect the image from fraud. Watermark is NOT on the original work. Will be shipped in the frame shown, the plexiglass and press board will offer sufficient support during transportation and keep handling of the pastel to a minimum. See the Zebra as an example of framed pastel painting. 4 clips, one at each side secure the frame in place. Zebra not included. The pastel painting will be reduced by 2/16" on one of the long sides to fit the frame. If you wish to re-frame the image to a more conventional style, the image will be reduced by 1/4" all around. You can have it custom framed and ask for less loss to gain more image. Do not remove from frame unless re-framing and have an expert do it for you if you haven't handled this type of work. The painting has been sprayed with fixative to reduce smudging but is subject to pastel loss if handled. This is delicate artwork that will come to you ready to enjoy!
