Edith Head hardcover book used

this is not a first edition, but it's a reproduction of Edith Heads iconic book "How to Dress for Success", it really is charming for the vintage enthusiast. the words have not been changed since her writing it during her era of success in the 1950's. for those who don't know, Edith Head is the legendary Hollywood costume designer who has dressed every famous golden age actress who graced the silver screen in the 50's and 60's. she's worked with everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Audrey Hepburn, and paved the way for making knowledge of fashion and elegance accessible for the every day woman too. there is significant signs of wear to my copy, but it's a rare and wonderful find. if you like vintage and the 1950's era you will be charmed with every word :') it's very endearing and fascinating to read her advice to women as if it's still completely relevant and current.
