Edward Courtenay Oxford Brass rubbing style

Written on back: Christ Church Cathedral Oxford See measurements on photos I do not have any other info, than shown on the back of this art pice. In my research it was said, that these paintings are brass rubbings, but I cannot confirm. Has a mysterious aura and would add character to mid century, art deco style or gothic style homes.
