Eleanor Brenner was a native New Yorker, she first gained national claim in the 1950s as an interior decorator, she was featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Good Housekeeping and many other national magazines at this point her clothing designs were primarily for herself, but friends encouraged her to continue to work on her sewing and design talents. She later went on to fashion school in Manhattan, finishing design school, she had difficulty getting accepted in the fashion industry, but kept working and eventually landed her first job as the in-house designer for Henri Bendel.
This is a versatile 100% will blazer in a black and white plaid pattern with black sequence and beads. Single breasted with one button to centre front, open slip pockets to each side, soft shoulder pads. There is no label indicating size.
