Elegant Black Off-Shoulder Midi Dress

My mom wore this dress to her high school prom- it’s a true vintage find. It’s velvet, has off the shoulder puff sleeves with spaghetti straps to keep the dress up right. It’s nicely fitted and has a very nice flare at the bottom due to the extra layer shown in one of the later images. Given its age, it has a tiny bit of wear and tear- just with some threads peaking out at the detailed top. Please note, technically this is a size 8 but that was from 1985ish sizing, it would fit more like a size 4 now!
