Two vintage Libbey glass dishes, era 1940’s. Used as a banana split dish ,people also used them for a relish, pickle, or sauce dish, and yes to place a cob of corn in. It is of a boat shape with ribbed sidewalls and a design on the bottom. Heavy glass with a bluish colour to them, they are in excellent shape. About 8 or 9” and about 4” wide, one could make an excellent banana split in them. One banana, three scoops of ice cream, sprinkles, caramel syrup, whip cream, nuts and a cherry on top. Yum. Also you can add to your farmhouse or ice cream parlour collection.
