Elegant Floral Tapestry Coverlet

1940s or older beautiful floral tapestry fabric. This one is very very special, it’s really hard to show its true beauty in this light. It’s very hard to find any textiles this old in these pinks and blacks. It’s a light weight weave so it’s amazing for the couch or end of the bed. But due to its weight it would also make beautiful clothing or bags. I dreamed for along time about making this into a photography dress but that hasn’t materialized yet, too many other projects on the go. I also haven’t taken the time to brush out the tassel fringe yet so it hasn’t happened. It’s just stunning as is tho. No damage to note aside from the messy tassels. It’s an amazing size too. If you want to incapsulate the roaring 20s, this is how. It’s been professionally cleaned at one point and stored for since the 70s by the same owner. 89” (without fringe) x 81”
