Elegant Glazed Porcelain Grazing Deer Fawn Sculpture with Asian Hallmark

Beautiful figurine of a grazing fawn, deer or other animal in glazed porcelain. Very sleek and elegant looking, with professional workmanship. This piece came from a large lot we purchased from someone who once had a vintage/antique store back in the 80s and 90s. We believe this piece to be 1960s-era. It has a stamp on the bottom with Asian writing - unsure if Chinese or Japanese and I don't know what it says. The piece is unusual since it appears to be a white-tailed deer but if it was made in an Asian country where white-tail deer don't live, then perhaps it was inspired by some North American travel? I wish I knew more about the story behind it! 7" long and 5.25" high with no damage.
